However, we can provide basic email services for up to 5 email addresses and 1GB of email storage space with each email address if required.

NOTE: we only provide support for Webmail and not for setting up on any other device!

If you’re using POP that means that you’re collecting your email locally and not necessarily storing it on our server which means you’re unlikely to need more space.

If you prefer to use IMAP then you are storing your email on the server and making it available to your other devices. This may mean upgrading your email account to allow for more storage. You will receive an automated warning should you reach 90% capacity. Contact us for prices.

Email Attachments The limits on attachment sizes are:

• Using WebMail – 10MB in total
• Using a mail client or a device – 30MB in total

Collecting and sending your email using webmail

We provide a webmail interface which we can set up to include your personal signature and logo free of charge.

Prefer to collect via a device such as Thunderbird or Outlook?

There are so many devices that collect email; we are not familiar with them all. We do not provide support for setting up individual email accounts on devices but we do provide tutorials for Thunderbird and iPhone / iPad setup.

We also provide you with all the server information you will need.

For business email or if your email services are critical we recommend the following 2 options

1) G Suite (highly recommended)

This option provides a lot of extras such as online docs and sheets etc and an awful lot of storage (30GB). It also allows multiple log-ins from different devices. Very good when more than 1 person accesses your email as it remains available on the server for your other colleagues.

This option still uses your personalised email address @your-domain-name.co.uk

DoodleIT will make all the DNS changes required for you.

G Suite is currently £4.60 per month/user and you get 30GB of cloud storage. Excellent spam filtering and lots of other helpful things too.

Many clients use this as their main email and then set up FREE Gmail accounts for internal emailing. We can discuss and advise.

We will set up your domain through DNS to work with G Suite and then all you need to do is open a G Suite account and you’ll be making use of Google’s excellent web-based email interface.
